ABOUT ME
I have been interested in textiles and art since the age of 7 when my parents sent me to the Museum of Modern Art to take art lessons. Theyalso sent me to our local Junior Museum where I learned ceramics, weaving, lapidary and woodworking . I was lucky to be raised in San Francisco An was exposed to the museum galleries and art shows. My mother was a teacher and my father was a writer. I traveled some to South America and Europe where I studied art at many of the museums. I also studied tapestry repair in Spain. While working my way through college I became feinds with some of the old jewelers and learned lost wax and soldering, etc..After getting my degree, I worked at a museum for many years as a museum tech., where I learned display, archival photography and archival preservandation of museum pieces .In the last 20 years I haven
